13 Years in the making!

THIS IS OUR STORY

Founded in 2011, Al Agua Cinema was born from a shared passion for storytelling and a dedication to the art of wedding filmmaking. Our journey began as a collective of documentary filmmakers who believed in the power of collaboration over individual authorship. This philosophy has allowed us to grow and expand our reach across the globe, with teams now based in Florida, New York, Houston, Mexico City, San Jose, Madrid, Caracas, and Bogota. Our commitment to collective artistry and shareable knowledge has made us available worldwide, always eager to travel wherever stories lead us.

At the heart of Al Agua Cinema is our founder, Priscilla Torres, a celebrated Venezuelan filmmaker and producer. With three Suncoast Emmy Awards to her name and a portfolio that includes the record-breaking documentary "Era of Dictatorship" and the award-winning "They Call Us Warriors," Priscilla has crafted a legacy of impactful storytelling. Al Agua has captured over a thousand wedding stories, each crafted with an unwavering commitment to beauty, detail, and a profound respect for the uniqueness of every moment we document.
